The differences aren't jumping out at me as significant. This perfume is intense yet balanced with a touch of freshness, making it incredibly versatile—perfect for evening wear but also elegant enough for daytime. I don't limit myself to just masculine fragrances, and Soir de' Orient 2010 from Sisley certainly works wonders on my skin, leaving a lasting impression that stays fresh for around six hours on my dry skin. My partner loved it as a masculine scent, though.

Even the first spray made me take a step back; I didn’t realize how much I’d dislike it every time I wore it. The saffron and geranium really dominated the scent, making it feel sterile. I couldn’t understand wanting something that smells like a hospital, and nothing about it redeemed itself to me—not even the pale rose notes helped. I’m really glad I didn’t buy a bottle; it would have broken my heart if I had invested in it. This shows why you can’t rely solely on reviews; everyone’s nose is different. It's always best to try it yourself, especially when it’s pricey. I know this must smell fantastic on the right person, but unfortunately, that person isn’t me. Though there’s a silver lining—a friend I passed it on to adored it, and she told me how wonderful it is on her. You truly never know until you try it, and how skin chemistry works is pretty wild.
