The perfume begins as a really sweet blend of fruity, floral vanilla scents—perfect for daytime wear. I’ve only got a vintage sample, so I’m saving it for those moments when I want something extra sweet. It’s sweeter than my usual tastes but still holds my interest enough to keep it. I’d rather others enjoy it since it’s discontinued. Compared to other sweet perfumes, this one shines because it avoids the sharp artificial notes I often dislike. The scent lasts a while, and while the dry-down is gentle, the sweet notes dominate the woodsy base on my skin. I prefer Sotto Voce over Venezia Pastello but still rank Venezia as my favorite in Laura Biagiotti’s collection. Roma is another favorite of mine.
Hands down, this has been my go-to night perfume—it’s easily THE PERFUME FOR ALL OCCASIONS. I couldn’t stop hearing about how amazing it was from everyone who tried it. It’s so frustrating to hear it’s been discontinued—why replace something this perfect with just plain bad ones?
It’s really elegant, but I think it might be a bit overpriced. Maybe because it's harder to find these days. Not bad at all, though it doesn’t quite hit the same vibe as 'Venezia.' Just my two cents—smiley face here!
It was a present. There's nothing quite like Sotto Voce for musicians. I loved the look and adored the scent immediately. It was such a treat to experience. Wearing it made me feel like Venus—confident, effortlessly captivating, in that "sotto-voce" way. I can’t imagine wanting another perfume. Please, don’t take it away!
The top of Sotto Voce's bottle features an odd, stylized design resembling a tuning fork, a tool used to adjust instruments to the correct pitch, which is humorously depicted by tapping in commercials. In music, "Sotto Voce" means lowering the tone, reflecting the perfume's thematic inspiration. The scent is deeply tied to music, with notes of precious woods, common in instruments, and evokes the image of a woman playing an instrument, blending sophistication and artistry into its essence.
