Cucumber is definitely accurate. Tzatziki
I have the watery woody scent on my skin, kind of slightly aromatique too definitely comforting. Fresh and warm at the same time kind of unique, I actually have a ha4 time to wear it as a woman but I really enjoy smelling it
I can relate to the comments saying this smells as a salty cucumber salad the most - in Bulgaria we have a cold soup called "tarator", it consists of yoghurt, cucumbers, fresh dill and it's commonly served with chopped walnuts on top. This is exactly the smell I get from this (confirmed by 2 other locals as well). That being said - I don't hate it all, quite on the contrary. It's not reading "food" in the classical sense, instead it just has the freshness of these ingredients and a slight pink peppery note. A good, salty fresh aquatic scent for the summer.
I prefer the clean, musky, fresh scents over gourmand and floral stuff that’s mostly popular rn, but this perfume leans a little too masculine on me. It is very aquatic and woody on me and my clothes. I do get the cucumber/melon vibes others have mentioned and I find it refreshing but not foodie. In terms of performance, it fades from the skin after 6 hours and it lasts all day on my shirts, can even pick it up the next day. That’s not to say it projects and performs strongly because it is sharp for the first hour, but then becomes much softer for the rest of the day. Overall, I would recommend this if you like masculine woody and fresh.
SOUS LE PONT MIRABEAU unfolds into an intense and opulent olfactory experience, a characteristic often found in ELDO (Etat Libre d'Orange) fragrances. The interplay of fresh and briny woods, accompanied by a subtle touch of cold smoke, pepper, cedar, and resins, creates a harmonious blend reminiscent of the familiar scent of freshly sharpened pencils - sharp and aromatic. Hints of violet and vanilla soften the edges, delicately enhancing the composition without stealing the spotlight. As it transitions to the drydown, I personally detect a brief, slightly chypre phase, followed by a lingering presence of timid ambroxan (Orcanox). The longevity and projection of this fragrance are not overly pronounced, which aligns perfectly with the intimist concept behind its creation. SOUS LE PONT MIRABEAU evokes the essence of a summer afternoon spent drawing in the sheltered garden of a seaside house or embarking on a nostalgic bicycle ride through childhood landscapes. It exudes youthful energy, subtly tempered by a sense of uneasy sensitivity.
