I purchased 2 decants Tribecca and Greenwich Village trying to decide which one I would showcase in my Youtube Chanel. I thought I would like Tribecca more but I was very disappointed the opening is nice but very soon after it starts smelling like pee mixed with some sort of perfume :-( It does NOT smell or compare to BR 540 which I have both EDP and Extrait. To me, GV is a beautiful scent yes some remiss of BR 540 but still beautiful. I want a full bottle.
BR540 plus jasmine & caramel. I love it! Soft, airy and sweet. I got my bottle from fragrancenet and I’m just so confused why this doesn’t project at all to me! I’m shocked to see it’s considered “long lasting.” It dissolves into my skin and off my clothes within 20 min! I’ve sprayed so many times before entering groups of people in hopes of at least one compliment and none..ever! Lol does anyone else have this issue?
Greenwich village is very similar to Tribeca. Both are laced with the same dna, but with added hazelnut & coco. It also has an amber feel that makes me very drawn to it. I would say i prefer Tribeca more
I got Tribeca as a sample and I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of Baccart in spirit but not necessarily in any specific way. While I didn’t get any compliments, I found myself catching whiffs throughout the day and getting happy. That being said, I’m not quite sure if I liked it enough to say that this will be my new signature scent. I think I’ll likely enjoy the decant that I have but not move forward with seeking out a full size bottle.
