Wildbloom

This scent seems kind of generic to me. I think I would like it a lot better if the suede was a bit more prominent. I get a lot of pear and citrus from it and it's a very fresh crisp fragrance. I get something in the dry-down that equates to green tea, at least to my nose, which is kind of nice but there's really nothing about it that stands out to me. Silage and longevity are pretty good, though. Maybe I would like this better in the summer. It's sweet but not so jammy that it would attract bugs if you wore it to the river on a hot summer night, so that's good, I guess.

I just blind bought this last night and I think I love it!!! Banana republic scents I have been loving and with every new one I buy and like it further establishes my love for their scents. Ive seen this before and I'm not sure why I never took the plunge to blind buy it Because I have so many others that I'm very happy with. So this to me is floral but all the deeper notes add something to it. The only way I can describe it is "fire". There's a fire note kind of like fire hot candies. This makes it interesting to me. This is perfect for summer. I wore it today in 95 degree heat and its a floral that's not too much especially in the heat but it's still interesting. It will wear very light but im happy about that. I've been looking for something I can wear year round for times when I'll be in close quarters with people and dont want my scent to be overwhelming but enough to where it's comforting and I can smell it and the smell makes me happy. I've only worn it today but I will test it more but this is loking very promising and I paid $16.99 for the big bottle. Such a great find for me and I expect to get a lot of wear out of it. Edit: This smells so good to me!! The combination of notes is like nothing I've ever smelled. The lasting power didn't seem good but my bedroom smells like it and I sprayed it on twice yesterday. I'm so glad I finally picked this up! Another edit: I may make this my signature. I've never smelled anything like this and I love it!

The opening spray is fresh, cool, and fruity. The fruits are slightly sweet. It reminds me of the cool air in a grocery store around the counter where fresh fruit salad is prepared. There's a sense of "perfuminess" from a clean patchouli. The opening is youthful/vibrant. And then the florals creep in. I don't pick out any particular flowers, just a soft, blended bouquet. They bring a touch of soapiness and the scent morphs into floral-fruity shampoo; pleasant and clean. In the later drydown the fruits have faded and the florals melt into the warm musk. It's the musk/suede of clean animal skin. Reminiscent of holding a cat while sitting in a sun-warmed terrace garden. The blending is very well done; the whole progression is nice and pleasant. This is one of my safest work scents and I always feel clean and lovely when I wear it.

I had this perfume and it was nice. I gave one also to a friend who was pregnant and couldn't smell anything too strong but she didn't mind this one and she likes it. Happy. And love the cute packaging. Everytime I pass the counter I would have to resist the urge (with much difficulties) to stop and buy another gorgeous bottle - simply because I wanted to try other smell. But this one is good.

Yes. As others have mentioned...it won't rock your world. It's nothing astronomically amazing or ground breaking. It's very much that "perfumey" smell where it just smells like...a perfume. No specific notes jump out. But...it's safe and it's pleasant. Not the strongest character perfume. But for someone who's very conservative, someone who doesn't like strong scents, or someone with an occupation where you can't wear a strong or bold perfume...this would be perfect. I work in a dental office and take a dentist for example who is literally inches from someone, leaning over their face...there's no way in hell they could wear "Alien" or something of that nature... This would be perfect for a dentist or something like that. Or someone that works in a cubicle very close to others. So I say it's not something to make a statement with...but there's occasions where you need something that doesn't. This would be perfect for that. Perfect for the office. It will however...need a touch up at lunch and will need sprayed a lot. It's soft, very soft. Longevity - 3 hours Projection - A foot, maybe a foot and a half. Spray on clothes to help a little! Overall Score - 7/10 Side Note : I accidentally bought "Wildbloom Vert" before this one a month or two back. And I do like that one more. It's very fresh, PERFECT for spring and summer...it stronger...and garners a LOT of compliments. A green, outdoorsy, fresh, soapy type of smell. If this one lacks character too much for your tastes...try the "Vert" flanker! It's cheap and very clean / pretty smelling. And regarding this perfume...I wanna give a shout out to the bottle. I LOVE the suede / leather flower thingy. It's a really pretty and unique bottle.
