Reviews

What a beautiful packaging! This fragrance initially presents with a citrusy and slightly tart quality. I acquired it due to its sweet rooibos tea-like drydown, or so I thought at first. However, after prolonged wear, the sweetness of the rooibos tea gradually subsides, yielding a scent that is more unisex in character. While this aspect was not entirely undesirable, I found it not quite to my taste. With well-moisturized skin, the fragrance lingered for 12 hours. The sillage was moderate, transforming into a subtle skin scent after two hours – an attribute that might be beneficial for those who work in environments that require discretion.

Winter Palace presents a pleasant opening with its citrus notes, and the vanilla aspect is agreeable initially. However, after some time has passed, it develops an unpleasant aroma on my skin, reminiscent of old chewing gum. It's possible that personal preference plays a role, as I'm not fond of iced tea flavors. Nevertheless, I can envision this fragrance being a hit with others who appreciate tea-based scents; it simply doesn't resonate with me.

Upon first application, subtle hints of tea and citrus greet my senses, persisting throughout the fragrance's evolution. The spicy and amber undertones bring a satisfying conclusion to the scent, which I find quite pleasant.

This warming and extremely relaxing fragrance is ideal for cooler temperatures, making it unsuitable for warm weather.

This is such a tranquil and soothing fragrance, its notes harmonize wonderfully. Orange has an inexplicable comforting quality to me, whereas citrus scents like lemon, bergamot, and grapefruit are invigorating. The pairing of orange with red tea, which smells remarkably like brewed rooibos, creates a calming and intriguing blend. This perfume is quite sweet, with the vanilla and tonka being absolutely delightful! I think it's safe to say that most people wouldn't object to catching whiffs of this, and its moderate sillage makes it unobtrusive. While I do wish there was slightly less orange and more labdanum, I don't mean to imply that I'd sacrifice the sweet notes; a touch more balance would make me utterly enamored with this fragrance. Nonetheless, it's comforting, unique, and it's easy to see why it's so highly regarded!
