Green especially at first although it calms down in a few minutes. Slightly sweet mimose mixed with powdery violet leaves and just a touch of warmth and sweetness from the vanilla. Very green interpretation of mimose, I wish it lasted longer however. Not great on longevity for such expensive a scent.

Tip Top Notes

I also really like this perfume, that I got a bottle of just over two weeks back when it was on promotion in one of the Avon catalogues. Couldn't help but grab such an excellent value item after seeing its attractive price point there. The packaging looks very nice, classy and inevitably draws inspiration from Herve Leger's iconic bandage designs. So, you find yourself with that type of perfume presentation which is genuinely rewarding to display and appreciate visually! Regarding the actual fragrance profile itself: it comes across as really elegant and distinctly feminine smelling. It carries a sense of luxury or high-end quality when I wear it. I concur completely with one assessment here pointing out similarities to Estee Lauder Sensuous. Had precisely that thought myself too - definitely an aroma quite like dark, soft woods yet still smooth and powdery at heart; quite alluring! Within the overall softness of this scent profile there's clearly a hint of freshness which I believe corresponds directly with grapefruit elements present in other interpretations but doesn't feel sharp or biting on my skin. For me, it simply enhances warmth while keeping things clean. Notably absent from my personal experience are those perceived notes of smokiness and spiciness mentioned by some others; they just don't register for me at all during application sessions. And I'm certain the gender leaning is strongly feminine – definitely not a unisex scent to my mind! Really, echoing what another reviewer said (though I naturally reserve judgment), I consider it quite soft enough that doesn't feel overwhelming or attention-grabbing from afar; suitable for anytime use according to me – day, evening without issue. It cleverly combines understated polish with subtle sensuality so it works well across different situations. The one somewhat frustrating aspect connected to this perfume is its limited availability in only the 50ml (or whatever volume designation) format found within Avon's offerings. It feels like a missed opportunity since larger capacities would be genuinely convenient given how quickly these scents can develop on skin for me; definitely time for bigger bottles according to my current needs!

Okay, here is the paraphrased version: Can someone add CKbe to the perfumes this smells like because for some reason I'm unable to include it at this time? There appears to be no discernible distinction between this one and CKbe. It's somewhat agreeable but evokes a notion akin to an herbal anxiety treatment, rather than being considered beautiful by my standards. I have greater preference for Green Tea Tropical and Lotus.

If you want an authentic lilac smell, this delivers. My grandmother had many lilac plants near her kitchen door. This fragrance replicates her outdoor scent perfectly. I adore it.

French Lilac

It was a lucky blind buy, no regrets. Smells like sunshine bottled up. The mimosa is portrayed gently, subtly, and realistically. It feels very feminine and refined.

Mimosa Pour Moi

Really strong lilac presence here, nothing else noticeable. It outlasts the typical Pacifica fragrances by quite a bit. The scent is ideal for those feeling a particular lilac vibe, and works especially well when you're already using lilac elsewhere in your look. This fragrance becomes overpowering in high temperatures but remains pleasant during early spring with its cooling effect.

The distinct indolic character can sometimes cause headaches, but the sheer beauty of this fragrance makes it irresistible for me. I'll admit, there's a chance that my enjoyment stems from a touch of masochism regarding its intensity.

Hermessence Iris Ukiyoé

It has the scent of blooming lilacs as if they were freshly picked from a garden. Other notes are present but remain quite distant. Using this product, I apply it via its sprayer onto my skin and hair. Next time, I'll try their latest solid perfume option at just two dollars. This fragrance primarily consists of floral notes—specifically lilacs—and lacks deeper scent nuances. It feels very genuine in its presentation.

Okay, here's another way to express that exact idea using similar sentence structure: Even though it is a crisp fall day, ideal for a spicy oriental fragrance (like Opium or Jungle Elephant), I am craving something rich and soliflore, so I picked up Pacifica French Lilac. I have the soap, lotion, solid perfume and spray available (this product is great as you can see!), applying it all after my shower gives me layers of lilac scent that make me feel wonderful. The lilac smell is very realistic and quite affordable.

I'm a fan of Bridgerton, and there's that one scene where the guy gets totally smitten by her lilac smell. Since then I've been wanting to wear lilac myself. This is such an amazing budget perfume but it smells fantastic! It has this floral quality, yet it doesn't feel stuffy or dated at all. I imagine wearing it while strolling through a blooming garden in a lovely long dress.

Yesterday when i first wore Incense by Byredo i could only smell strong fresh sandalwood with some jasmine. I didn't understand what would make this clean unisex fragrance a ultra feminine one. The akigalawood i found nowhere. As i interpreted this as such a fresh and kind of light perfume i totally oversprayed it today. I shouldn't have done so it was super STRONG. it lasted hour after hour and left a strong scent trail behind me. I live in a cool climate where most perfumes disappear within a couple of hours. Yesterday i thought it was very linear but it's not. After an hour or so the unisex showed itself as a male-ish patchouli-like scent next to the flowers maybe from oud with a sweet animalic undertone underneath everything else. Actually quite strong too once detected i will probably recognize it faster on my next try wearing this fragrance. I still think this particular Byredo creation has a clean and fresh smell but it possesses more complexity than what first appears making its strength very apparent quickly following wear. It's not really my usual style however it feels much too refined to be authentic old-fashioned yet sophisticatedly grown. Okay, let me break down the key aspects: 1. **Initial Impression:** The review starts by describing the initial scent perception – strong sandalwood and fresh jasmine. 2. **Understanding/Conceptualization Issue:** There's confusion about how a fragrance described as unisex (or later perceived that way) can also be considered clean, fresh, or even potentially feminine in its presentation initially. 3. **Comparison to Akigalawood:** The reviewer finds the specific notes of akigalawood surprising or absent, implying they expected something different based on common fragrance knowledge. 4. **Perception vs Reality (Strength & Complexity):** The reviewer misjudged it as "light" initially due to its clean presentation and perceived freshness, leading to an overdose. This highlights their misunderstanding about the strength of unisex fragrances in a cold climate where even regular ones don't last long. 5. **Scent Evolution:** After wearing for some time (an hour or so), the floral aspects recede, revealing a more "male-ish" or patchouli-like character next to notes possibly identified as oud, with a sweet animalic undertone underneath everything else. 6. **Strength of Evolved Notes:** The evolved scent profile is also noted as being quite strong once detected (even if initially masked), explaining the quick recognition on subsequent wears. 7. **Complexity vs Initial Impression:** Despite perceiving it as linear at first, they now acknowledge its depth and complexity beyond just sandalwood/jasmine notes. 8. **Personal Style Assessment:** The fragrance is not their usual style – they find it too clean or refined for them personally (perhaps expecting something bolder). However, they appreciate the sophistication and feel it represents an elevated, elegant, perhaps even old-fashioned yet grown version of itself ("not necessarily old but grown").

Elegantly Tokyo

A light, bright, feminine floral fragrance highlighting the Mimosa note, evoking feelings of freshness and innocence like a girl in a sundress in a garden picking flowers. It possesses a sweet quality similar to sunlight, making one smile despite its 'good girl' vibe being too light for personal preference. The dry down includes cedarwood and makes for a pleasant summer scent.
