Isn't it fascinating how our preferences in perfume evolve over time? I used to despise Anais Anais with its overpowering nature in the 80s, but after learning about the new formula, I decided to give it another chance and I'm glad I did. A more suitable name for this might be Anais Anais Lite, as the original was indeed stronger and harder to wear due to its potency. Nevertheless, the new version still retains its unique and captivating essence that many people adore. For those who haven't experienced the original and are considering trying the new formulation, I can describe the scent for you. It's a true floral dominated by realistic flowers, smelling very fresh and clean, with a mysterious and hidden depth of character. It's extremely feminine, sensual, elegant, and if you love the scent of hyacinths, you'll adore this fragrance as it's the most prominent note throughout. The unusual quality of hyacinth gives Anais Anais its mystery, allure, and sensuality – there's something about it that keeps you wanting to know more. Some people have noted a resemblance to Dove soap, which I can understand; it shares the same floral, clean, and fresh characteristics as if you've just stepped out of the shower. If you enjoy the scent of Dove soap, I think you'll appreciate this fragrance too. Furthermore, the dry-down reminds me of Le Jardin by Coty. I have voted for Anais Anais as an all-seasons fragrance because its light, clean, and fresh aroma makes it suitable for wear throughout the year, even in winter. It suits my personality and could potentially become a signature scent for me. It's unique, lovely, and I highly recommend trying it if you enjoy fresh, floral scents.

I'm thrilled with my blind purchase, as it defies my typical preference for sweet, fruity scents that shun any "green" notes reminiscent of freshly cut grass or foliage. But this fragrance masterfully blends green and floral accords in a way that prevents any single note from overpowering the others.

I recently purchased this perfume because my boyfriend is obsessed with the scent of my Dove Original deodorant and I wanted to find a matching fragrance. 🌸 I also received compliments on it from my sister and friend. 👍 While trying out various perfumes, I compared their scents to the deodorant both in-store and at home. Anaïs Anaïs is surprisingly similar when applied to my skin! 😊 It took some time for me to become convinced, but it's definitely the closest match to Dove-y among Noa and Pure Style. Let's see if others share my opinion! 🤔

My mom purchased this perfume for me as a thoughtful gesture, considering my affinity for Anaïs Nin; although I haven't worn it myself, the sentiment behind the gift is truly appreciated.

This vintage spring floral is unmistakable, reminiscent of lovely hyacinth, sweet yet powdery, combined with the crisp freshness of lily of the valley and earthy undertones from oakmoss for an authentic vintage feel. While Anais Anais may not conform to modern or fresh standards, it exudes an air of elegance in a laid-back manner, evoking images of lounging outdoors in warm attire. As an EDT, its longevity is impressive, lingering pleasantly around me for over five hours after application. Though I appreciate this perfume, it may be better suited for younger girls who embody innocence or older women who convey warmth and approachability.
