I adore this perfume! I picked it up at TJ Maxx for an absolute bargain because someone had damaged the outer packaging, and I scored it for just $10. It commences with a radiant, crisp pear -not overly sweet. It has a subtle powdery quality reminiscent of rice paper, which I attribute to the cacao lending a dry, semi-sweet aroma. Not chocolaty in the least, as I'm not fond of chocolate scents, but rather a harmonious blend of sweet rice paper, pear, and a hint of chocolate. Absolute adoration! It's perfect for vacations. This perfume stands out from the usual watermelon bubblegum summer scents without being overpowering like some winter fragrances can be. It simply exudes cleanliness. Incidentally, I've sampled Givenchy "Irresistible" in stores several times and find it similar but not identical to Delice. The opening notes are particularly reminiscent of each other, although Irresistible has a more floral dry down, whereas Delice is sweeter. I give this perfume a 10/10 for sillage; the performance, however, is mediocre, with longevity being the main issue - I only got two hours of wear before it vanished.

Interestingly, I find this perfume stands out from others in my collection, even surpassing Anais Anais L'original, which didn't resonate with me. This perfume is reminiscent of someone who exudes humility, athleticism, and confidence without trying too hard, yet still commands respect and admiration from others.
