Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea

This perfume had a disappointing effect on my skin! I appreciated the honey notes when I tested it on paper, but on my own skin, it morphed into an unpleasantly cheap aftershave reminiscent of an older man. The scent even made me feel queasy. This is the first sample or perfume I will unceremoniously dispose of in the trash.

It evokes an image of a young bride with a youthful, fresh face akin to the delicate petal of a magnolia tree, adorned with kohl and wrapped in luscious white and antique lace. The scent of this lovely girl should be as sweet as Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea: orange blossom, orange blossom, orange blossom, subtly accented by hints of honey and musk, a tantalizing secret hidden beneath the surface. 💃

If there exists a Spring fragrance that embodies perfection, Flora Nymphea is it! The prominent Orange blossom and Syringa notes harmonize beautifully with the robust Green notes, subtle Honey, and understated Cherry. A hint of animalic Musk adds depth, while the pronounced Woody notes contribute to its loveliness. This scent is not overly sweet; instead, it's more botanical and ethereal in character, with a slight sharpness that never becomes overwhelming. I recommend applying it lightly due to its strength. The sillage is potent initially but gradually lightens, lasting around six hours on me. Flora Nymphea reminds me of the enchanted atmosphere described in Midsummer Night's Dream - pure magic!

I'm somewhat underwhelmed by this perfume, as I was drawn to it due to its similarity to Chanel's Beige. Although I've borrowed my mother's Beige on several occasions, this scent doesn't evoke the same smoothness; instead, it has a noticeable masculine quality reminiscent of Drakkar Noir.
