Aquatic salty vanilla … makes me wanna vomit lol I’d never thought a Guerlain would smell this bad

Just perfect ♥️

Bosca Vanilla by Guerlain is an amazing sweet, natural smelling, light, airy, ethereal almost, vanilla scent. The woody base of the scent gives Bosca Vanilla Forte substance to be a long lasting perfume while the aromatics, citruses and the solar notes make it perfectly suited for summertime wear. Has a bright, crisp opening from the combination of vanilla with bergamot, a slight aromatic nuance from the eucalyptus note and a creamy, doughy feel coming from the immortelle flower. Such a phenomenal mix of more unusual accords to blend with vanilla that create an exquisite, elegant and elevated smell. I own lots of vanilla centred perfumes, some heavier for colder weather, others lighter for hot weather but I honestly feel like Bosca Vanilla Forte really stands out from the rest! So happy to get a big bottle right on time for summer season. Longevity is good, it’s true to the Forte name, lasts around 7 hours but has a very soft projection. Compliment getter also.. Sampling this and seeing how gorgeous it is, it really makes me wonder how exceptional the expensive range of vanillas, from the L’Art & La Matiere line must be… Hope one day I get the chance to test both Angelique Noire and Spiritueuse Double Vanille! I bet it will be a feast for my nose…

This one might be full bottle worthy. It does remind Devotion by D&G (although more sophisticated version of it) and even Xerjoff's Lira in a way. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it is really pleasant and likeable. The drydown surprisingly reminds me Shalimar Souffle. Someone mentioned Vanille Noire by Yves Rocher - I do see a very slight similarity (due to angelica probably!) but not significant, the citrusy aspect in Vanilla Bosca is overpowering. (I adore Vanille Noire BTW, it used to be my signature for years).

very vanilla and sweet in the beginning, however after a few minutes my skin creates this nasty, stinky note that I cannot identify and only remember smelling this in a skincare serum once. Unwearable for me
