This playful fragrance isn't going to revolutionize the perfume industry, but it's a delightful, refreshing, and engaging scent that's perfect for summer. I agree with you that fig deserves equal recognition; while the lime note doesn't linger as long as expected, the tropical notes take center stage. The sillage and longevity are satisfactory for a citrus-based perfume, demonstrating its quality construction and decent value (similar to Pamplelune). It's time Jo Malone took notice! 🌴👃
Lime takes center stage, with a zest-like quality blended with green herbal notes and a hint of fresh fig. While I'm told sugarcane and fruit scents are present, I don't detect them at all - they're certainly not as prominent as the page suggests 😐. Without these notes being more noticeable, I'd consider this an unisex fragrance at best, possibly due to a reformulation 🤔. To me, it's simply a refreshing, herbaceous lime scent with a subtle fig nuance and virtually undetectable sweetness that dissipates in the drydown ❓. The tonka bean is nowhere to be found 💁♀️. I think men could easily wear this, making it suitable for summer 🌞. Unfortunately, the sillage and longevity are underwhelming, leaving me with a skin scent 👀. It's not uncommon for AA fragrances to have weak projection - but still, disappointing 😐
A refreshing scent that will brighten up both your summer and spring days. This citrus blend is a perfect balance of tart lime and sweet notes. While I do detect some fig, it's the tropical fruit flavors that really stand out to me. This fragrance has an incredible ability to shift your mood. Currently, my top pick from the Aqua Allegoria line. Notably, it boasts impressive sillage and longevity. As its golden sticker suggests, this is a limited edition release inspired by the Brazilian drink Caipirinha, with Guerlain aiming to evoke the experience of sipping one beneath lemon trees along the Amazon River. I'm thoroughly enjoying this fragrance!
I consider it a feminine crowd-pleaser, reminiscent of the majority of Guerlain's recent launches, with its sugary aroma of melon and sweet lime fruit punch. For me, when it comes to Lime by Guerlain, I would always prefer the classic, invigorating, and sophisticated Cologne Imperiale.
Envision a fragrance that captures the essence of an alcohol-free mojito - its juice, green lime zest, subtle mintiness, and refreshing effervescence all blend together in perfect harmony. Next, imagine a dry down that warms up with spicy notes, reminiscent of freshly ground white pepper, similar to La Chasse aux Papillons Extrême. This is no gourmand; it's a thirst-quenching elixir for those sweltering summer days. And the best part? Its trail lingers remarkably long, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who catches a whiff - they often remark on its freshness and ability to evoke a sense of joy.
