After initially falling for this perfume in-store, I was thrilled to order it. Upon my first spray at home, I was hit with the rubbery note that many others had mentioned and felt regretful about my purchase. However, the dry down has won me over. The initial rubber smell has dissipated, revealing a lovely tart rose with a heavy emphasis on "oud". I think the synthetic oud might be responsible for the rubbery scent, as it's unlikely to be real oud at this price point (£30). After 20 sprays and re-boxing to allow for maceration, I'll revisit it when the weather cools down. Despite some initial reservations, I see potential and am reminded of its in-store allure – I have faith that after a few months, this perfume will become a beauty. 💡
Unless you have a fondness for rose scents, it's best not to make an impulse purchase.
Just received my latest perfume shipment from Amazon and I must confess...I'm becoming increasingly fond of rose-based scents. I've already acquired Roses Vanille by Mancera, Oud Satin Mood by MFK, and now this new addition - all of which boast impressive rose notes. Although I haven't had the chance to sniff Atomic Rose by Initio, if its composition is 90-95% similar to the original, then I'm one pleased customer!

🤔 I've only had this perfume for a short while, and I adore its scent when it lingers in the air. However, on my skin, it's an intense straight-up rose, Oud, and gasoline extravaganza! 🚗💨 I'm not sure if that dominant note will mellow with time, but for now, it's quite prominent. I feel like a diesel mechanic who's tried to mask the smell of a long day's work with rose essences. Despite this, at $25, I'm not too disappointed 😐
