Reviews

For me, the dominant notes of orange blossom and almond overwhelm the scent.

To me, this perfume lacks character. It smells rather generic and sweet to my nose, leaving me unclear about the creator's intended impression. My main issue is that it doesn't last two hours on skin. I've tested it myself and a friend who sells Estée Lauder confirms that they can no longer smell it after two hours. I find it hard to believe that reports of its long-lasting quality are genuine. In my opinion, this perfume is as uninspired as Aerin Lauder's fragrances, which also have poor staying power and lack depth. The packaging is certainly attractive, but I wish Estée Lauder would appoint a CEO and creative director with expertise in perfumery to revitalize their brand.

I envisioned a more airy fragrance. Instead, it's quite dense and potent. Someone described it as the perfect wedding perfume, but I'm unsure. The scent makes me feel mature. It's reminiscent of an older woman's fragrance - very traditional. Living in south Florida might amplify its heaviness due to the heat. Updated 3/26/21: After revisiting this sample, I've developed a newfound appreciation for it. Our tastes and perceptions do evolve over time, don't they? This is indeed a lovely perfume. I'm considering purchasing a full bottle now. While there's one note that doesn't resonate with me - the tuberose - it's overpowering but fleeting, lasting only around 30 minutes before dissipating. The other notes are stunning, though. Perhaps this strong note adds depth to the overall blend; without it, the scent might lack character.

I find the scent of this perfume to be very accessible, cheerful, and comforting, with an airy yet warm quality reminiscent of a sunny day or a lovely woman strolling through a field of flowers on a spring morning, much like a fairytale princess. The opening notes of mimosa and rose are pleasant, with the powdery quality being particularly enjoyable to me. However, I feel that the lychee note is overly sweet and overpowering, which takes away from the fresh and airy nature of the scent. In my opinion, a simpler combination of just mimosa and rose would have been more effective in capturing the essence of spring. On the other hand, I absolutely adore the heart notes, as a lover of white florals. The creamy gardenia, sweet tuberose, and clean orange blossom are all perfectly blended to create a truly lovely scent. I also appreciate that the tuberose is not overly spicy or green, which is often a characteristic of this note. The base notes are equally impressive, with the addition of marzipan being a genius move in my opinion. The sweet and nutty quality it adds perfectly evokes the feeling of medieval France, much like the 14th century French princess Aurora. The combination of suede, musk, and orris root is also well-balanced, although I feel that the ambroxan note is slightly out of place and has a synthetic quality to it. The sillage is moderate on me, with a wear time of just over 7 hours. Overall, while this perfume is pleasant and enjoyable, it doesn't quite blow me away, earning it a score of 7.3/10 from me.

This perfume is truly breathtaking! The floral notes are so refined and lifelike, it's as if I'm surrounded by a bouquet of fresh flowers. I particularly detect the presence of jasmine and gardenia, subtly blended with sweet white florals that create a harmonious balance. To me, this fragrance embodies a beautiful lady - elegant, bright, feminine, and cheerful. I believe it would flatter women of all ages, especially those 25 and above. Although I only have a sample, I'm utterly enchanted by its charm. As someone who adores bright, beautiful, and charming florals, I highly recommend giving this perfume a try if you share my taste. The advertising is spot on - it would be stunning on a bride on her wedding day!
