Reviews

I'm still reeling from the fact that this perfume is no longer in production! Maison Margiela's beach walk had the perfect combination of clean, mineral notes evoking the freshness of sea breeze, along with that striking and intoxicating wasabi accord. This truly captures the essence of summer, and I regret not stocking up on a full bottle before it disappeared forever

This perfume holds a special place in my heart. Its unique blend of rose and musk notes creates a cool and refreshing summer scent that never feels overpowering. As the fragrance settles, it's as if I'm transported to a sophisticated candy shop, where watermelon is reimagined in the most refined way possible. While I adore this perfume, its longevity leaves much to be desired, which is a shame given its discontinuation. That being said, I've found a perfect dupe in Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Celestia, although it comes with a higher price tag and longer-lasting wear.

My coastal scent, a symphony of sunny, salty, creamy, flowery, and dry notes that evoke the freshness of the mineral-rich ocean air. Its lingering presence perfectly captures the essence of the sea, transporting me to the beach with each wave and breeze. Upon returning from my seaside escape, I'm enveloped in its calming aura, a sensory reminder of the unique experience that is this fragrance.

From an initial "what's this?" impression, this scent surprisingly transformed into one of my all-time favorites - unfortunately, only to be discontinued. It boasts an unusual, unisex charm that sets it apart from the rest. A prominent pebble note dominates the fragrance, which I've never encountered before; it evokes the sun-kissed, slightly damp rocks along Croatia's wild coastline, without veering into a generic summer beach scent. The subtle presence of violet leaf and wasabi adds to its allure. This fragrance isn't for everyone, but for those with a taste for the unusual, it could be a signature summer scent. I'd never owned a CK perfume until this one, despite sampling most of their offerings; somehow, they never resonated with me - until now. In fact, I'm so enamored that I've already purchased another bottle before finishing the first; it's a shame it was discontinued, leaving me heartbroken to be without my new favorite scent. The sleek, modern bottle design is equally impressive. What a tragic loss for perfume enthusiasts like myself!

This was an impulsive purchase, driven by the unusual combination of notes listed on the 'wtf?' list, which piqued my interest. While I do enjoy it, I don't have strong affection for this scent. To me, it primarily smells like a sweet and refreshing cucumber aroma, which isn't entirely to my taste. As it dries down, the Vetiver adds a peppery aspect that further shifts my perception. In hindsight, I think I would appreciate this fragrance more on a man rather than myself. Overall, not bad, but just not suited to my preferences.
