Quite an agreeable fragrance, with prominent notes of white flowers, ylang-ylang, bergamot, and patchouli. Unfortunately, it lacks the freshness that I crave, and its sweetness becomes overpowering. A disappointment, indeed, as I had anticipated more from this scent.
Historically, certain aspects of Bvlgari's packaging and branding have deterred me from exploring their offerings further. However, my recent sample of Goldea caught my attention in a pleasant way. Initially, the scent struck me as rich and indulgent, with prominent notes of sweet ylang-ylang and patchouli. As I'm fond of ylang-ylang, it was initially appealing, yet I sensed a familiarity to the fragrance that made it feel less distinctive. The drydown, however, was a revelation! A soft, buttery bouquet of yellow flowers and smooth amber unfolded, making it well worth the wait. I envision this fragrance being perfectly suited for Spring and early summer evenings, and it has earned a spot on my list of full-bottle-worthy scents.
This scent is well-suited for a professional setting. The ylang-ylang note in particular adds to its appeal.
It's a trifecta of perfumery excellence! This fragrance shares similarities with LVEB, Opium, or Flowerbomb, yet it's more refined and sophisticated. I find it to be likable, easy-going, and feminine, without being overpowering or exceptionally standout. The packaging is also quite charming. While the scent doesn't linger excessively on my skin, it does have a longer-lasting presence in clothing. The fragrance beautifully blends notes of flowers, musk, and elegance.
It has a scent identical to Tom Ford Velvet Orchid, which I find delightful! The longevity could be improved, as it doesn't quite match the Tom Ford version on my skin; however, when applied to clothing, it can last throughout the day 👗💕
