Reviews

This fragrance doesn't quite live up to its reputation. While it's not terrible, the dominant vanilla and floral notes overpower everything else, relegating the citrus to a distant memory. The scent does linger, which could make it cloying for some. I found myself impatiently waiting for the dry down. In my opinion, this fragrance is more suited to women and would best be enjoyed during the winter months. I may need to pair it with something stronger, like Afrika Oliphant or Suede and Saffron, to balance out its potency.

I experience notes of flowers and sweet vanilla cupcakes with this scent. While it bears some resemblance to high-end designer fragrances, I find HSW to be a lovely and charming perfume in its own right.

Has anyone combined this scent with Oriana? I recently experimented with layering them and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

A truly majestic perfume experience - one that demands attention and admiration. Reminiscent of esteemed scents like Fakhar Rose from Lattafa or Givenchy L’interdit, its fruity, tuberose, and white floral notes blend seamlessly together. The orris adds a soft, powdery quality, while the vanilla provides a rich, comforting dry down that's both boozy and radiant. This fragrance exudes enormous projection and sillage, making it impossible to ignore. I'd wear this to make a statement at formal events, in crowded spaces, or even just to feel regal and cozy at home.

If this perfume were to be packaged in a more prestigious brand like Victoria's Secret, I think it would likely go unnoticed amidst its generic vanilla-floral profile. It lacks any standout features that would warrant the premium pricing, suggesting it's all about branding rather than substance.
