Wearing this fragrance is reminiscent of reconnecting with a trusted companion from the past, where the conversation unfolds effortlessly, and all the reasons for our enduring connection are instantly recalled. There exists a sense of comfort, familiarity, and ease.

The scent is mediocre, in my opinion. While oakmoss dominates my senses, leaving little room for other notes, it bears a striking resemblance to the drydowns of Dior's Eau Sauvage and Capucci pour Homme. However, I prefer those two due to their citrus beginnings. 3.5 out of 5 stars is an acceptable rating in this case.

This perfume holds a special place among gentlemen's fragrances but its association with Chanel makes it excessively priced in my opinion, I would consider purchasing it if the price was under 50USD for a 100ml bottle. The younger generation may want to explore other options for a signature scent as this fragrance exudes an "old" oakmossy fougere type of smell, nonetheless I'm pleased that it still remains available on the market.

However, there is one notable drawback - it struggles with longevity, typically lasting around 2-3 hours before fading away, which necessitates regular reapplication throughout the day.
