Reviews

So scandal is akin to Pink Sugar, albeit pricier and lacking the burnt note. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of Pink Sugar. The lactonic note reminds me of an unpleasant aftertaste, similar to a baby's burp following consumption of forbidden sweets - it's overwhelming and even nauseating. While application should be cautious due to its potency, this scent does boast good projection and longevity if you're into that particular aroma profile.

At the initial application, the fragrance becomes diluted among floral notes, subsequently shifting towards fruit accords, where subtle hints of jasmine emerge. The dry-down unfolds as if entering the evening, culminating in an alluring fusion reminiscent of delicate lace lingerie.

This perfume presents an unusual combination of notes. I detect a raspberry accord, though it's slightly synthetic in its character. The orange blossom is sweet and candied, while the creamy milky background is transparent. The white florals come across as quintessentially perfumey. The overall impression is both innocent and youthful, yet also vintage. It's simultaneously sour, milky, and candy-sweet, with a sharp quality that's hard to pin down. While I'm intrigued by this fragrance, it doesn't quite resonate with me; it's my first from JPG, but I wouldn't consider purchasing it.

This is one of the most saccharine perfumes I've had the pleasure of experiencing thus far. The combination of raspberry and tuberose proves overwhelming for my olfactory senses. Although it does last for an extended period, its linear sweetness borders on madness.

Raspberry floral indulgence. It evokes memories of Burberry Her Elixir, minus the Not My Way and Ari nuances. The DNA from Scandal is subtly present in the opening notes, only to fade away after a fleeting moment. This perfume is a masterclass blend of velvety white florals, juicy candied raspberries, and fresh creamy undertones. Each note seamlessly integrates into a smooth, sweet, and slightly refreshing fragrance that's suitable for all seasons. I'm eager to wear it in the spring and summer, having purchased it in February. Come fall and winter, I'm certain I'll need to restock, as I can already envision it disappearing at an alarming rate.
