This perfume truly brings me immense joy! I purchased it due to numerous reviews suggesting a similarity to MMM Replica's "Beach Walk", which happens to be one of my top three favorite scents from the brand. However, I was hesitant initially since their products tend to be quite pricey, especially for an EDT.
This scent is truly exceptional. Rather than being a generic "sunscreen" fragrance, it has a distinct summery quality that feels soft and subtle. As an ambergris/ambroxan aficionado who appreciates when these notes are executed well, I can confidently say that this perfume is a standout. It's unfortunate that Armani decided to discontinue such a unique and captivating scent, which is why I've made it a point to stock up on as many bottles as possible. To me, it doesn't share any resemblance with sunscreen; its beauty lies in its subtlety. This fragrance has become my go-to for summer, and in my opinion, it's the best creation from Armani. The other perfumes in their line-up feel generic and department store-like to me, but this one is truly exceptional.
I'm 25 years old and have a strong affinity for this fragrance, which leads me to disagree with those who say it's only suitable for an elderly woman simply because of its lack of freshness. In fact, I find myself drawn to lovely warm oriental scents over fresh ones any day, and I suspect that I'm not alone among young women in sharing this preference.
I was exploring this scent today, and I believe it bears a striking resemblance to Harajuku Lovers' Sunshine Cutie Baby G.
Gioia Sun doesn't quite work its creamy magic on me 😊, but I wish it did! In my opinion, it's an extremely sugary and praline-like scent that feels incredibly dry on my skin - it just doesn't seem to have any chemistry with my body 🤔. Maybe this fragrance would be more effective on someone with smoother skin? If you're a fan of super sweet gourmands, you might enjoy it 💕.
