This Amber floral perfume smells like you’re walking through an old Roman ruin in the Mediterranean but there’s an elegance to it, like an Agatha Christie femme archaeologist searching for artifacts on a Roman ruin near a beach on the Mediterranean Sea.

It's a bit overwhelming to me - I like it, but it's very present, and maybe a cold january evening in my couch does not seems fair til this scent :D The name and the description is spot on, and I think this scent belongs in at hot summer night, in southern europe strolling around the small streets and the piazzas, a little tipsy.... A perfect summer scent :-)

I got a sample of this and ended up getting a full bottle, the first time I tried it I wasn’t impressed initially but after a couple of minutes it developed the most amazing sillage, it’s ambery and almondy and warm but still manages to smell fresh and not too heavy, I didn’t think this would be great for winter initially but I actually think it’s wonderful for cold days where I don’t want something too heavy or syrupy but I still want something cozy. I’ve worn it several times after I shower and before I go to bed and I can still smell it when I wake up, so I’d say the longevity is decent (it also lasts much longer on clothes). The projection isn’t huge, it definitely won’t fill a room, but people who are close to you can smell it. It’s a great every day perfume and I’m honestly surprised I like it as much as I do, and I’ll definitely be picking up the biggest bottle when I go through the 1oz I bought initially ❤️

I rarely reach for this scent but when i wear again, its one of the most beautiful among di Gioia flankers. really a masterpiece. No wonder why its so mass appealing it is collaboration by 3 of my most favorites MASTER perfumers (for me they are)... Fabrice Pellegrine, Honorine Blanc & Natalie Lorson. They are master of clean skin scent (Lelabo another 13 & Diptique L'eau Papier, Kilian Princess, parfums demarly'ssafanad & Meliora ) known for innoffensive, bright & semi-gourmand-ish scent.

Whoever said down below that it is like Sensual Amber was right on the money. I think is just a touch less sweet and maybe a tiny bit soapier but other than that it's what I remember from that old b&b fave. I loved Sensual Amber in my early 20's and this brought me back to that time!
