Tamarindo

Went to Paris for the first time in June. Tried this at a shop on the Champs Elysees. Couldn’t get it out of my head. It lasted so long & smelled so yummy. Bought it the next day at the Galaries de Lafayette. Tropical yet warm scent that transports me to an island in the Pacific. I have a sweet adult beverage in my hand as I lay in a lounge chair that sits in white sand. Sexy men & women with tanned skin walk by & I smell their tanning oil. I’m immersed in sun & relaxation. This is an absolutely indulgent gourmand without being cloying. Great for summer - day or night.

I tested this directly from the brand, without looking at the notes first. I was surprised to read patchouli and pineapple are the top notes smelled by others as I never would have guessed that. To me, it’s pretty, but like someone else said; too expensive for what it is. I would describe it as just fruity and vanilla. In no way does it remind me of Coco or the Diors that are listed above. Kind of hard to believe this is actually a Memo scent actually!

Received a sample and not bottle worthy for me. The scent was floral, minimal pineapple, and seemed much more feminine than I like. Performance average.

I did indeed think of pineapple and something green. It's not bad, just kind of smells like...pineapple, plus shampoo or body wash or something.

Kind've upset to know I was planning to buy this.. when I have Nuits de Noho & Soleil Blanc in my collection. I may buy a organic pineapple lotion if I want more of the orange juice pineapple vibe this gives.
