Reviews

I've revisited this perfume and my opinion has shifted from neutral to strongly positive. The initial pear and apple notes provide a subtle sweetness, while the amber wood and patchouli undertones add depth and balance with a hint of darkness. As it dries down, the marine notes emerge, evoking a driftwood sensation with lingering fruit undertones. This has become my go-to ADG for everyday wear, surpassing Profumo in terms of versatility. The sillage and projection are respectable, creating a pleasant scent bubble around me without overpowering the space. I adjust my application based on the weather, using six sprays in cooler conditions (below 70°F) and four in warmer temperatures (70-85°F). While it's not suitable for sweltering summer days, this perfume is perfect for milder climates. The absolu exudes a clean, fruity freshness with a subtle woody undertone.

Powdered and warm makeup scents are not for me. 🚫

I recently replenished my stock of this perfume to re-experience its greatness before it becomes unobtainable. 🤩 It's truly exceptional, and I'm reminded of Profumo, which I didn't fully appreciate until a few years later. Over time, my tastes have evolved for the better, and I concur with others - it's fruity, elegant, and one-of-a-kind. A perfect scent for a summer evening. It's such a shame that it's been discontinued! 😔

Here's the rewritten comment in a communication speaking tone with emojis: The perfume community can be misleading, folks! 🤔 People tend to downvote fragrances just because others do, without considering the actual scent and its value. It's hard to know what's true anymore 😕. On a positive note, I'm loving Absolu 💕! It reminds me of Invictus Aqua, but with more depth and fewer synthetic notes 🎶. This all-around cologne is underrated and deserves more love ❤️. If you're looking for a solid buy, Absolu is a great choice, but if you're willing to splurge, Profumo or Profondo might be worth the investment 💸 (unless you're a hobbyist like me, of course 😉).

Let's refrain from expressing negativity and instead focus on the positives! This perfume truly shines, with its unique blend of sweet and woody accords reminiscent of a sweeter version of ADG. Additionally, its impressive longevity leaves a lasting impression. It's wonderful to see such a great release from Armani.
