Reviews

I'm a long-time admirer of Chanel and have several of their fragrances in my collection, with Egoiste Cologne Concentree being an all-time favorite among them. However, I wouldn't classify this particular perfume as one of their best offerings. As another reviewer pointed out, the newer versions lack vanilla and have a scent reminiscent of lemon pledge. Additionally, its longevity is relatively short-lived, lasting only about an hour. Notably, this fragrance is available on Chanel's website in EDP formulation. If you're looking for a better option from this house, I would recommend Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, which offers a more well-rounded fragrance experience. Alternatively, if you prefer the lemon and vanilla notes found in this perfume, you might consider Pour Monsieur EDP, which is arguably superior to this one.

This aftershave is truly revitalizing and effortlessly wearable. I've been keeping a sample of it handy, and I'm loving the boost of energy it gives me post-workout.

The fragrance boasts a pleasant citrus accord with subtle undertones. Unfortunately, its poor sillage and fleeting duration make it an unappealing investment.

AHEB is a prominent lemon fragrance that excels in casual settings such as daytime outings or social gatherings with friends. While it may not be suitable for formal events or late-night occasions, it can still work well on milder summer evenings. Its gourmand nature and pronounced lemon note evoke the scent of lemon tart, making me crave a visit to a bakery. The blend is impressively crafted, with the dominant lemon note presented in a smooth manner. Unfortunately, the longevity leaves something to be desired. Although it's distinct and hasn't been replicated by anything I've smelled before, it doesn't last as long as expected. The initial projection is excellent for 1.5-2 hours, but it completely disappears between 5-6 hours, making it less suitable for extended wear. It's ideal for occasional use. This fragrance isn't a safe blind buy due to its unique character, even within the Allure family. However, it's still worth trying out, as there's nothing quite like AHEB.

I'm hopelessly drawn to all things citrusy, particularly lemons. This perfume stands out as the only true representation of its kind - a must-have for anyone who adores lemon or citrus scents. I take it out almost daily and indulge in its intoxicating aroma. It's hands-down my favorite from the Allure sports line, with no contest. If you share my fondness for lemons, this perfume is an absolute must-have addition to your collection. Although, it's not something I'd wear on a regular basis - it's better suited for special occasions.
