I love this! I typically rotate around feminine scents but I tried this at the flea market and fell in love. A smoky, slightly sweet oud! Perfect for cold weather. This inspired me to try more unisex scents.
I love Juliette Has a Gun. The brand has some beautiful high quality perfumes. I own a full bottle of Mmmm... and travel spray of Sunny Side Up. I recently purchased the discovery set of samples and Another Oud was one of them. A great sampling set by the way! I should start with saying I don’t have much experience with oud perfumes. My tastes in perfumes have somewhat evolved during the past couple of years, but I’m not at the oud stage in my journey. To me I find this too intense. A scent that’s not pleasant to me. Something spicy, woodsy and something I am not used to. I think I’ll revisit oud scents in another five or so years. But for now Another Oud is a pass.
Uhhh, oud and raspberry is a gorgeous combination, one that I had not smelt before. It's girly, sweet and unintrusive - a great entry level oud perfume for newbies. As an uncomplicated, basic scent with little to no development, and only gentle projection and longevity, it's a light and easy to wear fragrance. This is oud for beginners.
More like a scented cosmetic product, than niche perfume. Actually reminds me of a certain mosquito repellent. I might, however, use up my sample for some layering, since I do appreciate this rawness in a way.
I just don't feel that ice cream sundae synthetic raspberry is a natural companion to oud, it feels wrong. Maybe for those who like fruity sweet perfumes this offers an intiguingly different take, but I'd prefer oud paired with something more noble and traditional - a good quality rose is the most common, ambery resins or good vanilla. Anyway, I can see how this had to be made!
