I tested a coule times this New Code against the original (2022 new "last" batch armani code) Old Code, the one with the dark blue bottle, dark gray strip and black cap. SMELL: New Code is a tad heavier compared with the Old Code, you could use the Old Code for very hot summer days without choking anyone mostly because the lemon is lighter than the mandarin. PROJECTION: New Code projects WAY more, Old Code gets close to skin fast so you can spray it like there is no tomorrow. LONGEVITY: New Code lasts a lot more easily 4 hours, Old Code dies after 2 hours. NOTES: New Code relies heavily on Tonka Beans and Lavender, Old Code relies on Suede and Lemon, Old Code smells better. Conclusion: you don´t need both, they´re 90% the same in the first 30 minutes, the drydown is around 70-80% the same, if you want a weak scent for a packed meeting in a closed space during summer, gonna be with other people in your car, or you are going to intimate and want just a skin scent, get the Old Code, women love it. New Code is mostly office safe.

@edstyler I can’t tell you about longevity and sillage because I tested it in the store. I think it’s very similar to A-list because I compared them later as they almost have the same notes.
It smells like a more mellowed out, less offensive and more crowd pleasing version of the OG Armani Code. I prefer this one. It's more fresh, and less spicy.
