Armani Prive Vert Malachite

Hello there! 🙋‍♀️ What's the significance of the varying nameplates (gold vs. green) on different perfume bottles? 🤔

It's disappointing to hear that this perfume is being discontinued alongside Bleu Turquoise. On a more positive note, I'm excited about the upcoming release of two new Armani Privé scents next year, which I've been told will be fantastic.

If you're a fan of white florals, I highly recommend giving Vert Malachite a try - it's a stunning combination of yellow and white floral notes that exudes elegance. As for its performance, it outshines Rouge Malachite in terms of projection and longevity.

For me, Vert Malachite bears a striking resemblance to several perfumes: Firstly, it shares a citrusy opening with Guerlain Terracotta, which also possesses a sunscreen-like quality; however, Vert Malachite is creamier in nature, while Terracotta exudes a more vintage and refined aura characteristic of Guerlain fragrances. Secondly, Jo Malone Sea Daffodil serves as a woodier and earthier iteration of Vert Malachite due to its sandalwood and vetiver notes. Lastly, I'm surprised that there's no tuberose note in Vert Malachite given its creamy bubblegummy drydown on my skin, which is reminiscent of BDK Tubereuse Imperiale. Both share a plethora of similar notes such as ylang-ylang, jasmine sambac, vanilla, and benzoin. In summary, I appreciate the opening and mid-notes the most, describing Vert Malachite as a creamy, smooth, sweet white floral with decent longevity. Nonetheless, I'm grateful that I didn't purchase a full bottle of Vert Malachite due to its non-unique scent profile and high price tag; one can find another fragrance offering a similar vibe at a more affordable cost.

Possibly the most potent and discerning white floral I've encountered thus far. The jasmine and ylang-ylang are particularly striking upon initial application. If you're not deeply devoted to intense white florals, you may find this perfume overwhelming. For me, however, this is one of the finest jasmines I've had the pleasure of experiencing, as it evokes memories of the fragrant blooms that adorn my garden on warm summer evenings. While I'm unsure if I'll be able to justify the cost of a full bottle given other options in this line that hold greater significance for me, I must admit that if budget were no concern, I would undoubtedly make an exception and purchase one without hesitation.
