Got Bvlgari Black about a month back as a blind buy, and let me tell you, this perfume packs a punch! While I'm thoroughly enjoying it, there's one aspect that's got me stumped - the opening reminds me of another fragrance I used to have, but for the life of me, I can't recall what it is. Davidoff Champion keeps popping into my mind, and I had that scent ages ago. To be honest, I've ordered a small 30ml just to confirm if it's indeed similar. Despite this minor quirk, Bvlgari Black gets a solid 10/10 from me, and that rubber note is utterly addictive!

Luca Turin gave it 5 stars, describing it as "hot rubber", which would normally be a deal-breaker for me since I detest the smell of rubber. Surprisingly, Black is anything but strange and unwearable - it's actually quite beautiful! On my skin, I don't detect even a whisper of rubbery notes, unlike Tar by Comme des garçons. Instead, Black presents itself as soft yet bold, with an undeniable urban vibe. And the best part? Absolutely no floral undertones to be found. Overall, I'm really enjoying it 😊

It may be true that Bvlgari Black has already been extensively discussed. Nonetheless, I'm another perfume enthusiast compelled to express my admiration for this scent. This was an extremely fortunate blind purchase. After about twenty minutes, I find myself captivated by the intriguing contrast of kinkiness, coziness, and wholesomeness present in this fragrance. Beneath the outer layers of alluring rubber and leather lies a soft, powdery core that evokes the comforting aroma of freshly dried laundry, with an emphasis on its warmth!

I thoroughly adore the fragrance, it has a sultry aura that I find incredibly alluring, ranking among my top favorite scents, unfortunately, its discontinuation is a great loss.

Like others, I was initially perplexed by Bulgari Black when I first sampled it in-store. A small bottle caught my attention at a discounted price ($25), and after giving it another try, I've grown to like it. However, its performance is underwhelming, with minimal projection and a light skin scent after two hours. Interestingly, this lack of longevity might be beneficial for me living in Japan, where people tend to dislike strong fragrances (cigarette smoke indoors being tolerated, meanwhile). I don't think Bulgari Black is a woman's fragrance; the rubber note might be too unusual or overpowering for a female. Additionally, I appreciate the unique design of the bottle featuring a rubber ring around it.
