Bvlgari has masterfully encapsulated its expertise in craftsmanship and artistry within this bottle's design, particularly with its stunning chrome stopper adorned with imitation studs reminiscent of vintage leather goods. Upscale and refined, it's undeniable that the Romans' tradition of leather crafting translates beautifully to bottle design. I've been fortunate enough to own two sizes of this fragrance, purchased at bargain prices (17 Australian dollars) from different stores at distinct times. The 30ml EDP and 50ml EDP I possess are now a treasured luxury. While it's no longer affordable at over 100 Aussie dollars, I was grateful for the opportunity to acquire these bottles last year at such reasonable prices. Some may not appreciate comparisons between fragrances, but this scent shares similarities with Night Blooming Cereus and Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Dawn' EDP; Christian Audigier's 'Born Wild' also comes to mind. The lilac-violet aspect of this fragrance is truly captivating, making me feel like I'm indulging in a touch of Bvlgari luxury whenever I spritz it.

I was surprised by how significantly my skin chemistry altered the way I perceived this perfume. Initially, I received it as a gift a few years ago and wore it out of obligation due to its overpowering powdery quality, which reminded me of an older woman. Furthermore, the licorice/anise notes would often give me a headache. However, upon re-wearing it recently, I was delighted to discover that the tonka and musk notes have finally emerged, transforming the scent into something truly captivating.

This perfume offers a delicate, elegant violet aroma perfect for springtime wear. Unlike some other prominent violet scents, it presents a soft, fresh quality reminiscent of water, rather than an intense, overpowering one like Guerlain Insolence. Although the fragrance itself may not be particularly bold or lingering, its longevity on my skin is impressive, lasting around 5 hours and remaining relatively consistent throughout its evolution. I would highly recommend this perfume to anyone seeking a reasonably priced, dependable, pleasant, feminine, office-appropriate floral scent with a subtle aquatic twist.

This perfume embodies the essence of luxury, with White Musk conveying a sense of purity and Violet introducing a chilly undertone. The subtle sweetness and tanginess create an aura of freshness and cleanliness. What's more, I'm relieved to find no trace of ambroxan or modern chemical additives! It's even more astonishing that I discovered it at an affordable price in a local Australian pharmacy. 😊

Upon initial application, I detect aquatic notes that immediately grab my attention. Additionally, there's a distinct sharpness to the scent, characterized by an acidic yet not overpowering crispness, which becomes more pronounced as the woody notes emerge. This combination gives the perfume a rugged, muscular quality. Surprisingly, the powdery notes fail to materialize on my skin. To me, Blv II is more of a spicy fragrance than a floral one. While I don't entirely dislike it, I find that a light application is necessary to avoid overwhelming my senses. The perfume's sillage and longevity are both impressive.
