This perfume embodies "sophisticated casual" vibes ๐. It has a complex, multifaceted scent reminiscent of Chanel perfumes and lasts an impressive amount of time on my skin - even after showering, I can still smell it ๐. Here's hoping the latest batch maintains this quality, as I'm in need of a new 150ml bottle! ๐ง While I would have liked it slightly sweeter, it's lovely just the way it is ๐. This flanker of "Chance" has a unique opening and could easily be worn by men, but don't expect a fresh, lemony scent typical of summer perfumes ๐. It's not your conventional "fresh" perfume at all! ๐
The Chanel "Chance" fragrances to me are straightforward, crisp, and youthful, perfect for Spring/Summer daytime wear ๐. Chance Eau Vive exudes grapefruit notes, providing an uplifting experience with a subtle powderiness - it's my go-to choice! ๐ Chance Eau Fraiche is slightly less sugary than its sister Eau Vive; I detect prominent lemon, white floral, and jasmine notes, finished off by a powdery dry down. While both are refreshing, uncomplicated scents that serve as a pick-me-up, the deciding factor comes down to personal preference - do you prefer grapefruit or lemon? ๐ค Chance Eau Tendre, however, was overly sweet and youthful for my taste; it's pleasant but better suited for teenagers than women.
This perfume exhibits an overtly green character with distinct herbal and pine-like notes. Upon drying down, it reveals a somewhat masculine aroma that is pleasing yet overpowering for my taste. I'm grateful to have only purchased the body mist, as I likely would not have been satisfied with the rest of the range had I committed to buying more.
One of the standout citrus aquatic fresh scents, with a slightly unisex quality that's not quite me. While I adore this scent, it surprisingly clashes with my skin tone; I think removing pine would elevate its overall appeal. I envision a sporty, active woman with a slender, boyish build effortlessly pulling off this fragrance. Typically, citrus-based perfumes lack character, but this one stands out - give it a try if you're into aquatic scents!
Picked up this perfume yesterday after trying it out once and testing various strips multiple times. It's one of the few Chanel perfumes I've genuinely enjoyed, so I was thrilled to own it. Nevertheless, it develops into something entirely distinct when applied to my skin. The citrus and green notes vanish almost instantly, leaving behind a subtle floral, white musk, and woody accord. This phenomenon isn't unique to Chanel, as I've noticed similar reactions from their perfumes on my skin before. Initially, the scent presents itself as a lovely lemony green fragrance with cedar notes that I adore. As someone who typically avoids fresh or floral scents, I can confidently say this is a decent fresh perfume. Just be aware that it undergoes a significant transformation within 30 minutes of application to the skin.
