Reviews

This is my initial experience with a citrus-based fragrance, which I find pairs harmoniously with aldehydes. In contrast to a classic, old-fashioned scent on my skin, or an overpowering powderiness, I appreciate that this designer perfume is not excessively pricey. After owning it for seven months, I believe you can wear it throughout the year for suitable occasions. During cold weather, it retains a refreshing quality reminiscent of my amber scents. This fragrance persists for 4-5 hours on my skin, slightly longer than expected. Overall, it leaves a pleasant, clean impression, and I'm looking forward to trying it during mid-to-late summer when its brightness will be amplified.

This December-themed perfume is perfect for the holiday season. Its crisp, airy quality provides a welcome respite from the chaos of crowded shopping destinations.

The fragrance deviates significantly from its predecessor in my estimation, whereas I was eager to rid myself of the former; however, this new scent has a fleeting presence that does not linger long enough to warrant removal. The amplified citrus and ylang-ylang notes, which initially capture attention, dissipate within an hour.

I used to own this perfume, but I had to give it away due to its poor longevity. However, when I tested it again at the store today, I noticed that the formula must have been tweaked because it now lingers on my skin for 12 hours! Despite being quite intimate, it's become one of my absolute favorites, especially since this new version is brighter and fresher than Eau Premiere.

I recently discovered this perfume and I'm absolutely enamored with it, having finally found a Chanel scent that suits me perfectly. Unlike other Chanel perfumes I've tried, which are often too bold and overpowering for daily wear, L'Eau strikes the perfect balance of subtlety and sophistication. The DNA of N°5 is still present, but in a way that doesn't scream "Look at me!" Instead, it's a refined and understated scent that lets my individuality shine through. I was initially hesitant to try L'Eau due to concerns about its longevity and sillage, but I found both to be impressive - the fragrance lingers on my skin for hours without being overpowering, and the dry down remains consistent throughout. Overall, I can honestly say that L'Eau is one of the most beautiful perfumes I've ever encountered, and it's quickly become a new favorite in my collection.
