Would you consider purchasing this perfume on my behalf?
This gourmand fragrance for women has a distinctively warm, dark, and sweet profile that lacks any noticeable lavender notes. While I appreciate its lactonic scent, I wish the coffee undertones were more prominent. The fragrance lasts around 6 hours on my skin. Initially, the scent in the bottle and when applied was off-putting, but it mellows out to a pleasant aroma after a few minutes. Unfortunately, I won't be repurchasing this due to its cheap and unsophisticated smell, despite being an expensive product. In hindsight, if priced like a typical bath and body works fragrance, I might consider purchasing it, as the scent is generally enjoyable; however, the current price point doesn't justify the quality of the perfume.
This perfume is a must-have for those who adore coffee notes, with a subtle presence that's often overlooked by others. Initially, the milk and lavender notes shine through during the first 30 minutes, making an instant impression. Upon re-spraying it before purchasing, I became enamored with its unique character. In my opinion, Coffee Break is best suited for daytime or evening wear during fall/winter, rather than a night out or special occasion. Its smooth, non-synthetic aroma reminds me of Halloween Man X, but with a more refined and enjoyable coffee note. The harsh, burnt quality of the latter is replaced by a gentle, approachable scent in Coffee Break. The longevity is impressive, lasting around 7-8 hours for me, which contradicts some reviews. Overall, I'd give it a 9/10 as a well-crafted fragrance, but the price tag may not justify the cost; however, if you can find it at or near $100, it's definitely worth considering.
I wish I felt more enthusiasm for this perfume as I've invested in the full size bottle, but it's just middling to me. It exhibits a pleasant creamy lavender essence with subtle undertones of bitter coffee beans. The dry powdery aspect is quite pronounced, which isn't typically my cup of tea. On the whole, it's a polite fragrance that would be suitable for everyday wear at the office, but it doesn't exactly resonate with me on an emotional level. 😐
If only this perfume lasted longer, I'd genuinely appreciate it! But since its longevity isn't impressive, I'm not sure if I'd want to splurge on a full bottle. It's pleasant and suitable for everyday wear, but the strength could be improved. 🌫️ The scent does evoke Prada Carbon, which is a plus. However, if this perfume wasn't called "Coffee Break," I might not even notice the coffee note. I'm still searching for a rich, dark coffee fragrance that truly satisfies my cravings! ☕️
