Reviews

I'm still discovering what I enjoy in fragrances, but from my testing, I've found myself drawn to scents that feature "fresh spicy", "green", "citrus", and "musk" notes. Under The Lemon Tree is particularly captivating with its lovely, clean, and airy citrus accord.

Under the Lemon Tree inaugurates with a remarkably authentic lemon aroma, successfully sidestepping the artificial, cleaning product-like quality often found in more affordable designer perfumes featuring lemon notes. As it dries down, the lemon gradually recedes, allowing the tea, petitgrain, and rose to emerge, thereby evoking the essence of a lush garden set against a subtle musky, slightly woody backdrop.

This scent embodies perfection in my eyes, as I truly adore it. However, what I don't appreciate is its fleeting presence, as after about 10 minutes, its detectability becomes minimal, even with a generous application of eight spritzes.

most of the fresh/clean fragrances in this line suffer from a lack of distinctiveness, with a similar opening and a straightforward aquatic base that fails to impress me. while I do appreciate the presence of lemon, musk, and pepper notes, there are other options on the market that I find more compelling, such as light blue intense or aqua celestia mfk for those willing to invest in a higher-end product.

I tried this at Sephora and was immediately smitten. The aroma is not reminiscent of household cleaners in the slightest. Instead, it evokes the sweet essence of Lemon Ginger tea with honey, which is simply sublime. The fragrance is both fresh and sugary, with a moderate longevity that left me smelling lovely for hours on end - even after I changed clothes, washed my hands multiple times, and took a nap. At the club, when surrounded by strangers who were getting rowdy, I found solace in reapplying this scent to my wrist and inhaling its calming presence. My enthusiasm for this fragrance cannot be overstated.
