Reviews

What an unusual and pungent perfume! Upon application, the scent hits with an intense, boisterous aroma, accompanied by herbal undertones. As the cinnamon settles, it begins to evoke a sense of warm apple pie, reminiscent of fragrances like Angel's Share or Oajan. The overall impression is akin to a group of patchouli-wearing hippies baking a tart apple pie in a forest glade. While I appreciate the unique character of this scent, its uncanny resemblance to body odor leaves me somewhat unimpressed - it's surprisingly potent and unpleasantly 'sweaty'.

Spicy, dark vanilla combinations typically don't resonate with me, but this particular scent truly transcends expectations. Instead of tobacco notes, I detect black pepper, syrup, and amber. The overall impression is one of smoothness, sweetness, sensuality, and subtle smokiness - perfect for evening wear during the cooler months.

It truly captures the essence of Angel's Share, minus the distinctive oak notes, which I find peculiar. Notably, its sillage is underwhelming on my skin, but the fragrance does linger for a decent amount of time.

I don't have much new to add here, but my impressions are that initially, upon spraying, it smells like pure vanilla, only to quickly shift into something funky that I dislike, possibly the clary sage? As I continued to sniff it on my skin, I couldn't make up my mind whether I liked or disliked it. It struck me as a mild vanilla scent with an underlying earthy note, literally smelling like dirt to me, so I wasn't a fan. Now, the dirt smell has dissipated and this perfume bears some resemblance to Angels' Share with its cinnamon notes, although I'd still opt for Angels' Share over this one. I find it more enjoyable than this one. While the drydown is pleasant overall, I wouldn't wear this enough to justify purchasing a bottle. This isn't a safe blind buy; test this one first.

In essence, this perfume resembles PDM Herod without its distinctive tobacco note. To my nose, it emits a more pleasing aroma; however, its longevity is distinctly shorter-lived compared to Herod. Nonetheless, it remains one of the most awe-inspiring fragrances I've encountered.
