The lychee, tonka and vanilla notes are taking this rose scent into a pudding direction. The opening is yummy and lovely, very soft and feminine. Rose magnetic is creamier than Stella, and less sharp but more complex than Izia, both voted similar here on Fragrantica. In fact, of the three options—Stella, Izia and Rose Magnetic—I prefer this one. In part because it’s a newer scent for me, although a few days ago I tested Rosefire by Hermetica and that one trumps all of these by a mile. Still I really am enjoying my maiden voyage with Rose Magnetic. Fades a little too fast as many of the lovelies do, so not a love but very close.
i wish i could pick up the darkness that everyone is saying but to me it just smells like a soapy rose.
This opens up as a bright, tart, and slightly sweet and jammy rose. It's quite fruity, I'm guessing from the litchi. There's also some depth to this one from the tonka and cedar. I really enjoyed the opening and mid of this fragrance. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the dry down. About 45 minutes-1 hour in, this became a bit synthetic...particularly the cedar. I'm assuming they are using Iso E Super to replicate the cedar note. If you're not sensitive to some of these aroma chemicals then I would suggest giving this one a try. It's a very versatile fragrance, and the price point is fantastic for niche; this one just didn't work for me.
For rose lovers. I can smell natural fresh rose with a touch of grapefruit and litchi. Versatile and very feminine, perfect for hot days. Office compatible. Fun, made in France, 86% natural with good value! 8/10
i think this is maybe a little more complex of a rose than i would like, and also leans more turkish rose than like "fresh" rose. the lychee/vanilla note here is also prominent and a little interesting, but it adds a depth/heaviness to the perfume that i don't love. reminds me of an elevated version of bath and body works rose scents, but not for me unfortunately.
