I'm testing out a new scent that's meant to offer something fresh and reminiscent of Philosykos. In my opinion, it leans more towards being feminine and powdery, with less green notes compared to its counterpart. The longevity is decent, lasting around 3-4 hours without significantly changing throughout wear. I don't detect any citrus in this one, instead I'm picking up on fig, white florals, and a touch of woodiness. 🌿💧

To me, this perfume emits a chemical note reminiscent of plastic. I appreciate its airy fig accord from a distance, but up close, the scent becomes unpleasantly overwhelming. It's possible that individual skin chemistry plays a significant role in this reaction, so I would caution against making an impulse purchase without trying it first.

This fig scent is one of my preferred fragrances; it exudes comfort and freshness.

I'm attempting to grasp the essence of the fig fruit in this fragrance. The top listed accord describes it as "fruity", but to me, it has a more bitter green quality. Perhaps it's a green, unripe fig note, which wouldn't fit my perception of fruity. Alternatively, maybe the black tea and orange blossom notes contribute to the green, bitter accord. To gain insight, I need to acquire some real figs from a grocery store. Although I have several fig-oriented fragrances, my only direct exposure to figs is through fig spread and Fig Newtons. I must experience raw, unripe figs to better understand their nuances. Are there distinct notes for ripe/sweet and unripe/green figs in perfumery? Given this fragrance's listing, I would invert the "fruity" and "green" accords. The green is slightly bitter, reminiscent of the fig bark and leaf notes in Dior Dune Pour Homme, which photorealistically captures the scent of a fig tree. While Fig Infusion is pleasant, it doesn't resonate with me as much as my other favorite fig scents, such as Acqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi/Ferrari Noble Fig, Dyptique Philosykos, or even Imaginary Authors Yesterday Haze and Dolce&Gabbana K EDP. Currently, I'm wearing D.S. Durga Debaser, which I prefer due to its sweet, fruity fig note expertly framed within the coconut and lactonic accord.

The negative reviews suggesting a strong green scent and lack of femininity led me to overlook this perfume initially. However, upon receiving a sample by chance, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually a lovely blend of sweet and creamy fig notes with no discernible green undertones or masculine aspects.
