I thoroughly appreciate the opening notes of this perfume, however, as the scent dries down, an unpleasantly synthetic quality becomes apparent to me. It's a relief that I received the travel-sized version, allowing me to continue testing it further to determine whether my impression improves with repeated wearings.
🌸 This perfume has "top 10 fragrances that make men go crazy" written all over it! 👀 Not being a fan of baked goods-inspired scents, I tend to shy away from gourmands. However, this one seems like an exception - so much so that I'm happy to indulge in my 8ml decant, which might just last due to its intense potency. 🕰️
This perfume burst forth with a vibrant fruitiness, possibly attributed to the orange blossom, before gradually transitioning into a soft, pliable almond scent that persisted for approximately an hour before disappearing rapidly into thin air. It's unfortunate, as the individual components of this fragrance truly captivated me.
To truly appreciate this scent, I find that wearing it during cooler months brings out its best qualities. While it still retains a pleasant sweetness even in warmer temperatures, I notice that the nuttiness and stickiness become more pronounced and linger for a longer period when the air is crisp.
I had high hopes for this perfume and was eagerly anticipating the opportunity to try it out! I'm a big fan of almond, pistachio, and mandarin notes, but unfortunately, on me, the scent is incredibly shrill and overpowering. It lingers on my skin even after multiple washes - it's as if I'm stuck with this fragrance forever!
