I can discern that this perfume possesses a refined and elegant character, however, after repeated trials, I have unfortunately concluded that it causes me immense discomfort due to its potential combination of white florals and honey, which may also be overly soapy to my taste.
This fragrance embodies the essence of sophistication and glamour, transporting me to an opulent setting where a stunning woman exudes elegance in a stunning white gown, savoring a glass of champagne amidst a sea of mirrors that amplify her radiance. The attention is all hers as flashes from camera lights illuminate her even further.
I've tried this perfume numerous times in-store and initially developed a fondness for it, which led me to purchase a full bottle. However, after extensive testing, I've discovered some aspects that bother me, such as an overpowering indolic jasmine note and a screeching quality. To address these issues, I experimented with layering this perfume with Vanilla 28, and the combination works well for me. Notably, Kayali Deja Vu's white floral profile is more appealing to my taste buds than this one. Additionally, I'm reminded of Alien, which isn't a scent I particularly enjoy. Furthermore, it shares similarities with Xerjoff JTC400 in terms of its orange blossom and honey undertones.
I'm absolutely delighted by Elie Saab! A perfume vlogger's glowing review sparked my interest, leading me to take the plunge on a blind buy. Although I never directly asked my coworker what fragrance she wore, I always admired her scent. Fast-forwarding to when I finally got my hands on Elie Saab, I was struck by its incredible aroma and immediately thought of my coworker's perfume. I may never know for certain if it's the same, but this masterpiece is a hidden gem that deserves more attention. If not for the YouTuber's recommendation, I would have remained unaware of its existence. As an orange blossom enthusiast, I adore how Elie Saab masterfully blends creaminess, citrus, and cleanliness with a sparkling quality. Its strength means just two sprays are necessary. Overall, it's magnificent and will remain in my perfume collection.
I adore the refined introduction of jasmine in this perfume, but I've noticed that the sweetness of the honey notes can become overpowering after a few hours, leaving a lingering scent that's almost cloying. A true challenge in perfumery is achieving longevity without overwhelming the wearer; perhaps this fragrance would be best suited for outdoor events or targeted application behind the knees.
