I've had the delight of experiencing this fragrance and I must say, WOW! I'm extremely cautious with my small sample because EVERY TIME I let someone catch a whiff, they attempt to keep it for themselves! This scent is truly fit for royalty, evoking an air of opulence reminiscent of lavish castle gatherings. In fact, nothing on the market has this exact same essence!
Where do I even begin... 🤔 My boyfriend got this for me because I'm a fan of patchouli and tonka. The fragrance is incredible, with impressive longevity. It's rich, dark, and incredibly seductive. The bottle and packaging are stunning, almost too beautiful to be used as a mere accessory - in fact, it could even serve as a makeshift burglar deterrent if needed! 😂 I can pick out all the notes (all three of them), but the tonka bean really stands out to me. The only drawback is that it's quite pricey, so while I'd love to make it my signature scent, it's not feasible for me. Still, its beauty is too great to be saved for just one season alone... 💁♀️
This perfume is incredibly potent! It's almost overwhelming, leaving me feeling like my nose is on fire. Despite multiple attempts to wash it off, the scent lingered, and I could still detect it a day later. If it weren't for its intense nature, I might have appreciated the fragrance - perhaps it would be suitable for crisp autumn days... However, in my opinion, Kerosene's Copper Skies does this concept better.
So I've got the 9ml miniature set to test out and decide which one to get a full bottle of. 🎁 This scent is highly pleasing, with a masculine leaning opening but a more unisex dry down - a female could pull it off if she wanted, but it'll be most captivating on a man. 💪 That being said, the DNA isn't anything new, and I can't say this version is best in class. 🤔 It smells like many middle eastern fragrances I've tried, with an opening that's bright but not citrusy, settling into a warm oud-woody scent. Very reminiscent of Commodity MK Bold! 🔥 I'm sensitive to oud, and even though it's not listed as a note, I can still detect it. 👃 When ATH reviewed this on YouTube, he said the mix of woods and resins gives the fragrance an oud accord, and I was like "yes!" 😂 Anyway, it's a well-done unisex fragrance with a masculine leaning - but I wouldn't pay this amount for this DNA when you can get the same scent elsewhere for less. 💸 Everything is well blended and smooth, but the cost isn't necessary, especially since the lasting power and projection aren't impressive. 🎉
Every time I wear this perfume, I'm transported to a regal realm where I feel like royalty strolling through a lush garden, enveloped by an aura of opulence. Its addictive quality is undeniable, but what holds me back from making a purchase is the steep price tag and overpowering fruity notes that detract from my overall enjoyment. Honestly, my primary goal is to discover a more affordable dupe that captures the essence of this fragrance without breaking the bank, so I'm hoping someone can help me with that.
