The perfume's creamy raspberry accord is incredibly sweet and gourmand in style. While it may overwhelm some individuals, I personally find it to be a delightful treat, especially during chilly, crisp winter days when its richness feels perfectly suited to the season.
I perceive this perfume as evoking the essence of Swedish fish candy and maraschino cherry infused with a splash of whiskey. The top notes in particular stand out to me, blending harmoniously with the base notes to alter the typical scent of raspberry into something deeper and more musky. The middle notes, comprised of vanilla and various florals, are somewhat overpowered by the stronger scents, resulting in an overall sweetness dominated by sandalwood and musk. Notably, the geranium is prominent, contributing a warm, slightly spicy accord to the fragrance. Initially, the middle notes are noticeable, but they gradually fade, leaving behind a sweet, powdery, and musky aroma. The combination of sweet and warm, spicy notes gives off a boozy impression, while the fruity-floral and powdery aspects remind me of cherry candy.
This perfume has a prominent powdery and creamy presence, with earthy undertones that give it a slightly stronger impression. While it doesn't evoke Hypnotic Poison at all, the almond note from Dior's J'adore Haute Perfume shares a similar accord. 🌸
When I initially apply MMMM…, it makes a strong impression on me. The scent presents itself as a charming, captivating blend of prominent vanilla, raspberry, caramel, sandalwood, tuberose, and heliotrope notes that don't immediately scream gourmand to me. Instead, I find myself instinctively sniffing my wrist repeatedly during the first hour.
This scent is like a worn-out piece of pink bubble gum 😕
