I'm thoroughly underwhelmed by this perfume's performance. It's been on my radar for quite some time, and I finally treated myself to a bottle from Lucky Scent - a reputable retailer, no less. Unfortunately, the fragrance that arrived is nothing like I had anticipated. The scent is diluted and lacks any semblance of projection, fading away after just a few hours. Despite this not being an isolated experience (I've tried friends' bottles with similar results), it's clear to me that the formula has indeed been altered. What a letdown - I feel like I've wasted my money.
This fragrance stands out for its distinctiveness, as I develop a temporary anosmia to it within 5 minutes of application, yet I still catch whiffs throughout the day. When I take a closer sniff, it reveals complex notes reminiscent of stretched rubber bands, lemony and aquatic undertones, and even hints of fresh bread in the background. Additionally, I detect a faint scent similar to a fresh dollar bill. The unusual combination has earned me numerous compliments, making it one of my most complimented fragrances alongside those with an Aventus-style DNA. Its recognizability is striking – where I'm from, this fragrance is often associated with the "rich F boy" crowd. In fact, you're likely to find it wafting through the air at upscale sneaker stores or hypebeast shops, with a 9/10 chance of encountering it.
This scent is overwhelmingly ubiquitous. Without researching the ingredients, I would have been oblivious to its saffron composition, as it presents itself with no distinct notes yet remains unmistakable. Its appeal seems geared towards teenage girls and women seeking to defy aging, which unfortunately may lead them to be impolite to customer service representatives in their pursuit of novelty.
Surprising decision to purchase without sampling!
I was anticipating a similar scent profile given my fondness for Cloud, yet discovered this perfume to have an unexpectedly metallic and strong musk quality, reminiscent of sweat, which I attribute to the presence of ambergris. Furthermore, the fragrance lacked impressive projection on my skin and had a relatively short duration.
