Citrusy, green and fresh. No trace of marine or oceanic notes. It's a foresty scent, but not a damp dark forest but a lighter one, fewer trees scattered further apart near the beach. This is at the same time strange and somehow familiar, even though I can't quite get what it reminds me of, maybe something like Dior Higher?. Feels a bit retro but not in a bad way.

I don't know what makes a lemon italian, but I'm all for it. This fragrance is perfect for warm weather. It's one of my first really expensive frags that I own and I've fallen in love with it. With most cheaper-end designer frags the citrus is usually a bit synthetic and windex-smelling but this lemon actually smells smooth and natural. The woods in here are very prominent as well. For me I also get a very slight tea note, maybe it's the labdanum I'm not sure. It's very Mediterranean oriented in it's scent profile. For a fresh scent it's very powerful. I could smell it faintly on my wrist the day after. It also has decently good projection for a fresh scent. If you want a more unique warm-weather scent I definitely recommend this, but because of it's price point you should not blind buy it.

They went away from the aquatic theme? This seems like a whole new fragrance and not a flanker. Interested to try.

Harsh smell of floor detergent followed by a dry down of grilled chorizo. Nope

Absolutely love fougeres, and this is my newest addition to my ever expanding collection. And funny enough I have overlooked this one for quite sometime. I’ve always seen it, just never sprayed it at the testing counters. I tested it yesterday and ended up testing and buying a 100ml bottle today. It’s simply summer class. It opens up with lemon and oak and then morphs soon in to a rich cypress and oak woods. As the time goes on the oak and cypress stick around and the amber rounds it out. The lemon stays in the scene for quite sometime aswell to give it levity. Overall it’s such a classy and green opulent scent. If you love fougeres, and want something a touch different than lavender being the star, give this a shot! Spring, Summer, Fall Only downfall for many will be the price. Ended up being $435 CAD for 100ml
