Loubimar Eau de Parfum Légère

I don't think Alien is an accurate description of this perfume, in my opinion it leans more towards a chypre family fragrance rather than floral. It's not entirely unappealing to me, but I'm not overly enthusiastic either. In fact, the packaging is so appealing that I might still consider purchasing it, especially since I already have Loubikiss from the first collection and Loubicharme from the second collection 💧

Loubimar Légère initially presented itself as a bright and citrusy scent, with a subtle salty undertone, while the tuberose was barely noticeable at first. It took about 40 minutes for its presence to be fully acknowledged, revealing a sweeter and less natural quality compared to other tuberoses I've encountered. The musk played a significant role in the drydown, further enhancing this characteristic. Overall, I'd describe Loubimar Légère as a feminine leaning perfume that's not exclusively designed for women; its unisex appeal isn't my preference, either. It bears similarities to lighter colored Alien fragrances already available on the market. The moderate sillage and 5-hour wear time are acceptable but not impressive considering the price. This casual scent is suitable for spring or summer daytime wear, though it won't turn heads. As a result, I'm giving Loubimar Légère a 6/10 rating, and it's unlikely to prompt me to make an immediate purchase.

Sadly, despite its stunning packaging, the scent falls short of my expectations. Upon application, a faint lemony note emerges, but it soon transforms into a pungent aroma that reminds me of cleaning products. Despite my initial enthusiasm for the design, I found myself unable to appreciate the fragrance, and it ultimately ended up getting passed on.

I purchased a sample of this from Fragrancelines, anticipating I'd adore it, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth the investment for me. Thankfully, I only bought a sample as this scent isn't suited to my taste. It appears to me that they might have accidentally mixed up my sample because this fragrance doesn't evoke citrus or freshness; instead, it smells eerily reminiscent of something my aunt used to wear in the early 2000s when I was a kid. I believe this fragrance would be more suitable for an older woman, lacking a distinct unpleasant odor but rather carrying the characteristic scent of older perfumes.
