6/10 👀

I'm devastated I didn't snag a bottle of this before its retirement, as the initial notes transported me to a sacred or rustic setting - an unusual yet captivating experience. Upon settling, it transformed into a sultry and enigmatic fragrance, radiating a spicy and one-of-a-kind aura, perfect for a romantic evening.

I still have a significant amount left in my bottle at home. 😊

It still baffles me how this scent is marketed as a women's perfume, given its undeniably masculine character. To my nose, it has a pitch-perfect balance of labdanum, incense, amber, and vanilla that makes for an exceptional fragrance - far superior to the overpowering and food-like Amber Absolute. 😊

This scent is utterly captivating! Initially, I was uncertain whether I loved or hated its unusual quality. Upon first application, I was met with a strong frankincense note, which brought back memories of the incense used in Orthodox churches from my culture. At first, I questioned whether I wanted to smell like church. Typically, heavy oriental fragrances aren't my go-to scents, but this one is unique and engaging, not to mention hypnotic. It's reminiscent of a hot desert day, exotic spices, and has an undeniably seductive and even perverse quality to it. While I'm unsure if it's suitable for daytime wear, it's thrilling at night. After trying the full size, I must admit that its longevity is somewhat disappointing – it lasts only 3-4 hours on my skin before vanishing, whereas it performs better on my clothes for around 10-15 hours.
