Notes

This fragrance combines notes of pineapple, suede, and musk, resulting in an interesting yet unrequited affection from me.
I hadn't grasped the concept of leather notes in fragrances until now, and frankly, it didn't seem appealing to me. However, this perfume has completely changed my perspective. The leather note is masterfully blended with the other notes, creating an exquisite scent that's worth trying out.
Crème de Cuir is an oft-overlooked treasure in the realm of perfumery, boasting a singular harmony of supple leather and luscious pineapple notes that yield a crisp, airy aroma. The rich leather conveys refinement, whereas the subtle floral nuances introduce a subtle nuance.
In Crème de Cuir, an initial burst of green freshness, characterized by the subtle bitterness of mandarin and orange, provides a captivating introduction, reminiscent of a fleeting cologne-like essence. A smooth leather note then emerges, evoking the luxurious softness of suede gloves or the familiar scent of a well-worn school satchel. This tender opening is beautifully wrapped in a masterful blend of creamy sandalwood, sweet ambery vanilla, and dry, powdery woods, which unfold on the skin with warmth and gentle nuance, free from any hint of excess or discordant notes.
Pineapples and citrus, though more grapefruit and citrus with a tropical essence prevail. The cuir aspect is subtle, yet present beneath the surface. Suede takes center stage alongside creamy birch, which is tempered by vanilla's softening influence. Musk, pepper, and sandalwood are integrated seamlessly. This scent indeed exhibits creaminess, albeit with a sweet suede and tropical citrus blend. While intriguing and charming, I find myself unfavorably biased towards the salty pineapple note, rendering it cute but not entirely to my taste.
