This perfume felt like it was tailor-made for those few weeks after Christmas when ginger, cinnamon, and hot wine dominate every gathering, making everyone's skin smell like pumpkin spice. My initial impression was that it would be suitable only for summer, but as time passed, I found myself appreciating its warming qualities in the winter months. It transports me to a cozy clean home kitchen or a quaint local bakery in Provence, not Greece.
This perfume is a true delight! Upon first spray, I was utterly captivated by its enchanting aroma. The scent has a lush, citrusy quality with a deep warmth and subtle undertones of nuttiness and dry sand. It transports me to a idyllic Mediterranean setting where the sun-kissed skin glistens next to fragrant groves of citrus and olives. A carefree, joyful fragrance perfect for prolonging summer's blissful moments.
Exquisite, I'd say! This fragrance is not something to overlook, in my opinion. Some may find the pistachio olive mix note off-putting, reminiscent of roasted grain husks or stale chips, while others will appreciate the nutty tone, as I do. Over time, it mellows into a refined herby citrus scent that exudes elegance. The blend is impressive. Unfortunately, the price tag is steep, and the perfume's longevity on skin is decent but lacks any significant trail, which left me feeling frustrated. This scent is polarizing in terms of its smell, and I wish the longevity and sillage could be improved at this price point.
I didn't fully appreciate this perfume until I wore it on a warmer day. Initially, I was lukewarm about it when I first tried it in early spring, but upon wearing it on a sweltering afternoon that demanded a power nap, I finally grasped its essence: imagine lounging in the shade to escape the scorching sun and heat of an arid climate during peak hours. The nuttiness that harmonized with the green and lemon notes struck me as soothing and calming. To my mind, it's an exemplary unisex fragrance.
The longevity is truly exceptional. Two days after application, the scent is still going strong and lingering pleasantly -I didn't even doubt its potential. Interestingly, this experience has shown me that decent longevity can be achieved with mid-tier fragrances -take note, luxury brands like Tom Ford and Guerlain!
