It's an intriguing scent, yet I'm unsure if I'd want to wear something that evokes this particular aroma. Honestly, I've never been drawn to citrus or aquatic notes; they often leave me feeling unimpressed. This perfume is certainly light and refreshing, but it smells like a potent insect repellent on my skin. In my opinion, this one would suit a man's taste better.
I need to familiarize myself with this scent further. It's not simply a perfume; it's an encounter that demands exploration. So far, I find the fragrance very organic and silky, lacking any harsh notes. I detect subtle fruit undertones, creamy and earthy nuances. This is not a scent you wear to impress others or seek attention, but rather one that allows you to unwind and immerse yourself in the present moment.
Un Jardin sur le Nil presents a lovely fragrance, characterized by a sudden burst of citrus, tomato, and carrot notes that give it a strongly vegetal character. The orange note takes center stage initially but unfortunately, the perfume's longevity is quite fleeting; after an hour, only faint remnants of the scent remained, reminding me of yesterday's demonstration.
🌼 This scent is simply delightful! The fresh, green, and tangy notes transport me to a sunny garden, reminiscent of ripe tomatoes straight from the vine. While I don't detect much mango or base notes on my skin, the juicy tomato accord shines through. Unfortunately, its longevity leaves room for improvement, lasting only about 3-4 hours on me. Despite this, the scent still makes an average impression with decent projection.
The initial burst of green mango and grapefruit provides a tangy, citrusy kick, even in an eau de toilette concentration, making it invigorating yet slightly biting. While it's a refreshing change from other Hermes Jardin offerings, I don't find myself utterly enamored with this scent to the point where I'd want a full bottle of it.
