Reviews

I'm torn between this and its original counterpart, but ultimately I've come to prefer this one. While they share many similarities, I find myself drawn to the subtle citrus nuances in Absolue. To my nose, it evokes a captivating blend of peachy tea with a soft white floral undertone, reminiscent of an elegant twist on Bvlgari's Thé Vert or a modern take on Tommy Girl. The fragrance has a relatively brief longevity, leaving behind only a faint whisper of its opening notes, making it suitable for everyday wear.

Hermes perfumes consistently evoke powerful emotions and physiological reactions. This one left me breathless. The first time I didn't feel the urge to dissect the notes.

I got a decant of this perfume and unfortunately, I must say that it has a strong resemblance to grapefruit-scented paint thinner 🤯. The other notes are completely masked by its dominant bitter quality. I'm struggling to grasp the composition of this fragrance as it behaves like a harsh chemical solvent 💸. When sprayed, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth 😝. Unlike traditional citrus scents, this one is sharp and biting ❗️. Sorry for the blunt review, but honestly, this perfume is quite unfriendly and overwhelming 😕.

I struggle to detect any fragrance from this brand, whether it's applied to a card or my skin. The scent is virtually nonexistent, leaving me feeling like I've simply sprayed plain water. Given the price point, I'm expecting a perfume that lingers on my body for an extended period. 🙄

I acquired this perfume as part of a sample set and was thoroughly captivated by its charm, leading me to subsequently purchase the full size. It has a distinctive white floral character with an initial fruity-citrus opening that reminds me of grapefruit. In terms of its overall style, I would say it is decidedly feminine in nature, making it an excellent choice for enjoying on a mild and pleasant spring day. The fragrance itself projects and lingers reasonably well.
