Ethereal, refined, and icy blonde. I'm captivated by her haughty demeanor; her nonchalance. Lips pursed, eyes squinting, hair shining like lush wheat bathed in the warm glow of sunlight as the envious sun sets... She won't bat an eyelid at another passing day. Not a single strand out of place on her head. Only the finest fabrics – cashmere or silk – dare touch her divine skin; icy coldness must be kept at bay, swathed in sable furs as she glides through the lush verdure of her extensive European estate... No winter can rival the chill of her disapprobation. She bestows a blank stare; marble-carved fingers delicately stroke the strings of white pearls around her neck... and she moves on. She always does. She is formidable, like an apex predator that never needs to kill its prey. She maintains strict control to preserve the order of the world. She is extraordinary. Her beauty is timeless, as unforgiving and unyielding as death itself.

One of my go-to perfumes that consistently gets my attention and I feel a sense of emptiness when my supply runs low.

Same narrative with Eau de Parfum. While it does present a more opulent and distinct character, it's not something that resonates with me. In theory, I detect an refined and bold fusion of flowers, rose, geranium, and leather... On my skin, however, I'm met with the unpleasant sensations of rotten hay and dirty horse saddle. Why is this so?

I'm perpetually on the lookout for the perfect leather fragrance, and I have a deep affinity for all things leather-scented. Unfortunately, this particular perfume fell short of my expectations due to the prominent presence of rose notes, which I find overwhelming. The scent is characterized by its soft, suede-like quality, accompanied by floral undertones that give me a headache. Lacking the earthy, horse-like essence I crave, this fragrance feels too refined and pretentious for my taste. As someone who prefers a more rugged, punk-rock approach to leather scents, this perfume's smooth, high-quality nature is at odds with its overly polished persona. While it may not be my cup of tea, I acknowledge its value as a must-try for those who appreciate leather fragrances, and its relatively affordable price point is a plus compared to some other premium options like Tom Ford.

I'm thoroughly unimpressed with the EDP sample from my Purple Luxe subscription - did they really send me the wrong one? Is this an EDT instead of what I anticipated? The fragrance in this tester bears a striking resemblance to Balenciaga's Florabotanica and Curve Crush, both of which I disliked. All I'm getting is citrus and rose, which is headache-inducing and overwhelmingly sharp. I was expecting a rich, decadent leather scent with rose, violet, and iris playing throughout, but what I got is a far cry from that.
